TAG CAMP (Committee and Management Planning) returns for it's sophomore year and this year it's being held in the beautiful environs of Sydney's Manly Beach.
Join us at the International College of Management, Sydney on Monday September 18 and Tuesday September 19. Following the same format as the inaugural TAG CAMP, this meeting provides the forum in which the TAG Committees and the wider membership can work together in bringing new strategies and ideas to life that are representative of our integrated organisation.
Following on from delegate requests at CampusLink, we'd love to have more Clubs and Societies people attend CAMP with the view to setting up a committee. Like the other committees at CAMP, they'll be situated at their own table to facilitate discussion.
What's the format?
The first day kicks off with a special guest keynote speaker and will be followed by the TAG Board bringing delegates up to speed with the events of the last year and what is being planned for the coming year.
It's then time for the various TAG committees to review the year to date and discuss plans, goals and strategies for 2018 and beyond. All members are welcome to attend this event and sit in on any committee meeting that sparks their interest, to share, have input and be kept informed of the many programs and concepts that TAG is currently working on, or is considering.
During the day, the TAG AGM will take be held, at which the new TAG Directors will be inaugurated.
Come Monday evening, join us for dinner and drinks at the Moonshine Bar in the heritage Hotel Steyne from 7pm. Tickets for this chilled out gathering overlooking famous Manly Beach are only $30.
Day two, each committee will present back to the combined delegation the outcomes of the previous day's meetings. Q&A from the floor is encouraged. We will be finished by midday, followed by a light lunch.
Why should I attend?
You should attend if you are interested in the strategic and operational direction of TAG. This event plays an important role in you having a voice in the decision making process. This meeting is invaluable on many levels for members from all areas of our industry. It allows us to get to know each other. Provides us with a voice and an avenue of communication. Helps us build our team, strengthens our relationships and allows us to define a mutually beneficial path. This is an important part of what makes us stronger as a group.
How much does it cost?
If you are a service fee-paying member of TAG, CAMP is one of the many value-added benefits afforded you so there is no cost to attend the day sessions. For those of you who aren't service-fee paying members of TAG, the cost of attending the 2 day sessions of CAMP is $189.
The Monday night dinner is an additional cost and is $30 for everyone who wants to attend.
