ActivateUTS are looking for a Sports Administrator to coordinate, manage and organise student teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports administration particularly in coordinating sporting and recreational events and formulation of policy and programs.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Sport, this position is responsible for the management and organisation of all student teams competing in inter-university competition across the country, including the Eastern and Australian University Games and various Australian University Championships. The position is also responsible for creating and managing other less competitive sporting opportunities for UTS students throughout the year. This role requires strong leadership and organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with minimum supervision.
You are passionate about the sports industry and have previous experience coordinating sporting activities, you will be well organised, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and great problem solving skills with good financial management experience. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of student sport and recreation needs,
Sports Administration/ Management Degree or equivalent, current driver’s license andFirst Aid Qualified. Equally important to the role is amotivating and engaging attitude.
