The current unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures and it is with disappointment that we announce the postponement of our signature event for 2021, the CampusLink Conference.
At last week's Board Meeting, the TAG Director's unanimously agreed that unfortunately with the unease and instability that continues to be brought by COVID, it is in the best interest of TAG Members to postpone the CampusLink Conference which was scheduled to be held in the Gold Coast this April. See the official communications surrounding the event postponement and submission extension from the Chair of the TAG Board, Paul Clayton below:
"As you will have read in recent communications, there is still concern about the proposed dates in April and the fact that we are still stabilising around the country following further Covid outbreaks. Following consultation with our members, both on the phone and via email, and with key suppliers, we have taken the decision to move the conference to a date in late June or early July. This will allow us to plan for all contingencies and for the country to begin the process of vaccination and stabilise internal controls and travel. More details will follow as the planning develops but we will deliver on this new date. What this also means is that we can afford to postpone closure of the CampusLink Awards submissions, providing members more time to polish and submit, which has been a common request for the TAG Team". - Paul Clayton; TAG Chair
Consequently the postponement of the Conference and the Gala Dinner has resulted in a deadline extension for the 2021 CampusLink Awards, find out more.
But never fear, in true TAG style we are still committed to bringing you a range of opportunities to connect with your peers throughout the year, including a June CampusLink - in one form or another!
