Are you coming to TAG CAMP 2018?

TAG CAMP 2018 will be held  Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th of September at the iconic and newly renovated Roundhouse at UNSW.

50 delegates from 17 member organisations met last year for the day and a half Committee and Management Planning event at the stunning International College of Management in Manly.

Once again, this year's focus will be on the the five committee tables, where committee members and other delegates will work through the relevant challenges of our dynamic organisation and set in place goals and plans for the coming year.

The meeting will kick off on Monday morning with a great presentation - "The New Work Reality" by Annette Cairnduff from the Foundation for Young Australians. Annette will identify the four most significant factors that can accelerate the transition from full-time education to full-time work including an education that builds enterprise skills, being able to undertake relevant paid work experience, finding paid employment in a sector which is growing and an optimistic mindset.

The rest of the day will be given over to plenty of opportunity for discussion and planning focusing on how to best maximise TAG's ability to deliver the best in services to its members and position itself as a leader in the tertiary services sector.

Monday evening, join your colleagues for a barbie and drinks downstairs at the Bewer Garden. These are always fun evenings. Cost for the BBQ is $30 pp. for all delegates.

Tuesday morning, our friends from FUSA will present their new 'Be a Better Human' campaign, designed to create a better campus culture based on consent, respect and empathy. We then move into wrap up discussions and outcomes presented back to the plenary by the various committees:

Leadership Development Committee

Student Outcomes Committee

Commercial Development Committee

Clubs & Societies Committee

Sport & Fitness Committee

The formation of the Clubs & Societies Committee was the crowning outcome of last year's TAG CAMP and we are keen to see the Sport & Fitness Committee become a reality at this year's event.

I'm sure you'll agree this will be a very productive day and a half, and will set an ambitious path for 2018.

TAG CAMP is a FREE event for service-fee-paying financial Members.

Non-financial members are welcome to attend at a cost of $189.00/delegate.
