Tenders

The 2008 TAG tender process is now underway.

TAG conducts tenders for national contracts of goods and services in the second half of each year. The following is the general timeline:

First week of July:
To ensure maximum exposure and transparency, an advertisement is placed in the Tenders section of the Public Notices of the Weekend Australian. Incumbent contract holders, parties recommended by Members and parties who have previously expressed interest in tendering are invited to tender by email. Tender documents are downloadable at the time from links on this page.

Second week of August:
Tenders close.

Third week of August:
Submissions are opened by a panel of Members and data collated into spreadsheets which are subsequently distributed to Members for consideration and due diligence prior to the voting process.

Last week of September:
TAG Trade Fair:

  • Day 1: Presentations by tenderers to Members in a closed room environment. These presentations are in great demand, and bookings issued on a first come, first served basis.
  • Day 2: Further presentations, followed by the Trade Fair, which represents the last opportunity to promote the tender to Members in an open trade fair environment.
  • Day 3: Voting Day: Members vote on tenders

Second week of October: Tender outcome formally announced.

01 December:
New contracts take effect
