Tendering for TAG Contracts.

The 2009 TAG tender process commenced Saturday 10 July. Tender documents for the various TAG contracts available are available for download below.

Tenders will close Friday 06 August, and will be voted upon  by Members at our 2010 Trade Fair and Conference in Perth.

TAG conducts tenders for national and regional contracts of goods and services in the second half of each year. The following is the general timeline (subject to variation):

First week of July:
To ensure maximum exposure and transparency, an advertisement is placed in the Tenders section of the Public Notices of the Weekend Australian. Incumbent contract holders, parties recommended by Members and parties who have previously expressed interest in tendering are invited to tender by email. Tender documents are downloadable at the time from links on this page.

First week of August:
Tenders close.

August:
Submissions are collated into spreadsheets which are then subsequently distributed to Members for consideration and due diligence prior to the voting process.

Last week of September:
TAG Trade Fair and Conference:

  • Day 1: Presentations by tenderers to Members in a closed room environment. These presentations are limited and in great demand.
  • Day 2: Further presentations, followed by the Trade Fair, which represents the last opportunity to promote the tender to Members in an open trade fair environment.
  • Day 3: Voting Day: Members vote on tenders, on a one vote per Member organisation basis.

Second week of October:
Tender outcomes formally announced

01 December:
New contracts take effect

These categories will be confirmed before the release date. Only confirmed category tender documents will be available for download from July 10

This year's tenders will be accepted only in an electronic format, by email. This will help reduce the waste of paper and other resources associated with tenders in past years.
