Events - May Management & Planning Meeting

Each May, TAG holds a two-day meeting of Members at a member campus. More than forty key Member representatives attend this forum at which the strategic and operational direction of TAG is discussed and reviewed. As the second main event on our calendar, this meeting plays an important role in Members maintaining an input into the decision making process.

The 2010 TAG May Management & Planning Meeting was hosted by Deakin University Student Association at their Warrnambool campus on May 27 and 28, and attracted a record attendance of 55 key TAG Member decision-makers.

As well as having their say in the direction and strategy of the cooperative, the 55 delegates were also treated to the lovely Victorian countryside, views from the deck across the Hopkins River, an excellent dinner by the seaside, and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues, many whom they see only once or twice a year.

This meeting is invaluable on many levels for Members from all areas of our industry. They allow us to get to know each other. They provide us with a voice and an avenue of communication. They help us build our team, strengthen our relationships and allow us to define a mutually beneficial path. This is an important part of what makes us stronger as a group.
